Perhaps I will include other uses of Isildae on the 'Net, that I find interesting and worth a link. But for now, why Isildae? From TolkienIsil: Quenya name for the moon 1 dae: shadow 2 in English: Moon Shadow in Latin: Luna Umbra in Quenya: Isildae Pronounced (by me anyway): 1) Isil: like iss ul rather than is ill rhymes with thistle; dae: like the English word day 2) Isil: the Is sounds like the is in this and the il sounds like the ull in full; dae: like the English word day (need to add a sound bite) Named for my wife’s beloved Siberian Husky and for the beauty of God’s creation when walking in a wood, through freshly fallen snow, under a full moon.
